The Timbavati Reserve, part of the greater Kruger National Park, has been designed to capture the romance and elegance of bygone Africa. The reserve will allow you to see Africa's Big Five(lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo). The Big Five are Africa's most deadly animals to humans during the exploration and development of Africa. You will also see upwards of 200 species of animals and birds. The Lodge will ensure your privacy and exclusivity.

You will experience morning and afternoon game drives with knowledgeable rangers in open vehicles. Your afternoon game drive gets back after dark, which gives you the opportunity to spot our nocturnal animals with a spotlight. Meals, featuring true South African cuisine are enjoyed in a comfortable yet elegant atmosphere with dinner in the boma or a bush braai under the canvas of the dazzling African sky.
